Der richtige Ort um nach einem Nachtessen ein ( oder auch mehrere) Bierchen zu trinken, sehr liebevolle und witzige Einrichtung !

Die Sonderbar zählt zu den Kultplätzen in der kleinen, ansonsten leblosen Stadt Selb. Bereits seit Jahren, sogar eher Jahrzehnten hat das Lokal ihre Pforten für die jüngere, wie auch ältere Generation geöffnet. Die Kneipe bringt Leben in die Stadt und ist aus der Porzellanstadt nicht mehr wegzudenken. Wenn man berücksichtigt, dass die Stadt bereits einen sehr negativen Ruf hat, was das Freizeitangebot, vor allem für Jüngere, angeht, kann man froh sein, dass es mit der Sonderbar einen Ort gibt, der am Wochenende wesentlich länger geöffnet hat, als die Konkurrenz. Das dieses Konzept sehr gewünscht ist und positiven Anklang findet, spiegelt sich auch an gut besuchten Tagen wieder, wo sich auch noch um 02:00 Uhr nachts eine große Menschenmenge in der Sonderbar wiederfindet. Das familiengeführte Geschäft löst beim Betreten eine warme, wohlige Atmosphäre aus. Man merkt, dass die Sonderbar bereits ein gutes Stück Geschichte erzählt, da die Einrichtung sehr "sonderbar" ist. So hängt nicht nur die Stoßstange eines Klassikers im Lokal, sondern auch andere kultige Gegenstände, sowie zahlreiche Schilder zieren das Innenleben des Lokals. Das Besondere dabei ist aber, wie gut in Szene alles gesetzt wird. Obwohl es sich wie ein Durcheinander anhört, ist das Gesamtbild der Sonderbar einfach stimmig und einzigartig. Die Musik ist abwechslungsreich und sorgfältig gewählt, aber geht nie zu stark in gewisse Nischen. Aber bestimmte Kultsongs dürfen einfach nicht ausbleiben. (Sorry, Generation Anti-Schlager) Beim Bestellen merkt man schnell, dass die Wirtin bereits ihr Leben lang diesen Beruf ausübt. So kommt es zwar, gerade an gut besuchten Tagen, zu Verzögerungen bei Bestellungen, aber man kann zu keiner Zeit behaupten, dass das Team nicht alles versucht, um schnellstmöglich die Gäste zu bedienen. Auch die Preise sind gerade für die heutige Zeit absolut legitim, sowohl für Essen und Trinken. Ein Dartautomat, sowie zwei Glücksspielautomaten stehen zur Verfügung und befinden sich in einem guten Zustand, falls es doch mal manch einen in den Fingern juckt. :-) Abschließend lässt sich sagen, dass die Sonderbar in Selb nicht nur einfache Kneipe ist, in der sich zahlreiche Leute jedes Wochenende treffen, sondern auch ein Erlebnis für Besucher der Stadt bietet. Gute Preise, eine optimale Lage, sowie ein erfahrenes Personal beweisen, dass auch in der heutigen Zeit bei den steigenden Preisen, ein Lokal mit einem super Preis/Leistungsangebot existieren kann! Ich kann einen Besuch dieser Kultkneipe nur wärmstens empfehlen.
